Trotec BB20 Coating Thickness Gauge
With the BB20, you can quickly determine the thickness of non-magnetic layers such as paints, varnishes, plastic coatings, galvanization, enamelling and chrome plating on various metal substrates without damaging the surface.
The combined sensor enables measurements on both iron and steel, as well as on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper and zinc. The BB20 is suitable for quality control in industrial painting, inspection of finished parts and monitoring deviations in the production process.

Reliable Inspection of the Applied Coating
The BB20 enables quick coating thickness checks during incoming, intermediate and final production inspection. The device can be used for powder and liquid coating, as well as for inspecting other protective and decorative coatings on metal parts.
The V-shaped groove facilitates the positioning of the measuring head on pipes, shafts and other curved surfaces.
Stored results can be transferred via USB to a computer for subsequent analysis, documentation and quality traceability of different parts and production batches.
